Davis Rice of Joye Law Firm and his staff are highly competent and very experienced with workman's compensation related injuries.  Not to mention they are so easy to work with and really care about their clients.  I would highly recommend Mr. Davis to anyone injured at work!

My experience with the Joye law firm was overwhelming initially, but became a complete pleasure after speaking with my lawyer Mr. Davis Rice. He explained everything answered all my questions and at times just talked to me about life. He understood my situation and went far and beyond his calling for me. Not only did I happen to find a GREAT law firm. I feel I made a good friend in the process. When the chips were down I witnessed Mr. Rice dig in for better words during our initial hearing. It was AWESOME! Don't let the nice guy look fool you. He's a pitbull that only wants the best for his clients. I thank him for everything.

Believe me when I tell you, the workman's compensation insurance claims services provider system does not care about anything but the bottom line.  You need an experienced attorney to deal with these claims services providers.  Please do NOT go this alone.  It is unnecessary and will be unproductive.

My experience with this law firm was excellent. I wished I never had to be in a position of needing a law firm in my life but i did. I had a major accident at work, not knowing what my future would be, if i healed properly or had life long issues from the accident.

Matt Jackson handled my case for over five years till settled. The settlement was the maximun the law allowed, he and staff always treated me with respect, had the time to explain details and was always in contact with me either from email or phone. I never had the feeling of being pressured by him or anyone at the firm to make a decision, they just took the proper time to handle all of my issues. I would reccomend Matt Jackson and the Joye Law firm to anyone.

Many workman’s compensation related injuries are not as complicated as mine, where those affected will heal up and settle the case quicker than 3 years.  My case was complicated and without Mr. Rice there would have been no way we could have come through the past 3 years with the outcome we have now.  Without going into too many details, I will need medicine and pain related treatment for what could be the rest of my life.  Mr. Rice negotiated a VERY favorable financial settlement for us to be confident we can cover any related out of pocket expenses.

At this point, my husband and I decided to seek help.  After looking around on the internet and reading reviews, we decided on attorney Davis Rice with Joye Law firm.  The BEST decision we could have made.  Within a few days, I had an appointment with a neurologist and treatment was under way.  Because the nature of my injury involved possible impacts on the brain, several tests had to be scheduled and performed.  My case took nearly 3 years to complete because of the potential for brain trauma associated with the fall.  I had to exhaust all avenues of testing and treatment to reach my "Maximum Medical Improvement."  Mr. Rice and his para legal Marcie, on numerous occasions had to contact the workman's compensation claims service provider on my behalf.  Most of the time to get treatment authorized after the doctor would order it and the claims services provider would originally decline.  This process would have been a nightmare if I didn’t have Mr. Rice and his staff taking care of this.

On September 29th, 2014, I fell of a ladder at work and hurt my head and neck.  When arriving by ambulance to the ER, I found out the medical costs would be filed under workman's compensation insurance.  I was not familiar with this type of insurance but was relieved there would be no out of pocket expense.  The following week I experienced dizziness and fell at home in the kitchen, requiring two additional trips to the ER over the next few days.  Again, this was related to the head and neck injury so the claim was filed under workman's comp.

During this week, my husband and I started dealing with the workman's comp insurance claims services provider handling my claim.  We quickly realized this provider was much different than our personal health insurance provider.  For example, they would call me late on a Friday afternoon and demand medical records from my primary physician, giving 24 hours for me to produce them.  When my husband tried to contact them, asking for more time, they would not respond.  When emailing them for information on a path forward for treatment, the answers would be vague if they bothered to answer at all.  It felt as though they were passive-aggressively trying to discourage me from continuing with the claim.  Add to this my head and neck pain and it was simply becoming impossible for me to deal with them.

I would give Davis Rice 6 stars if I could. Always there to answer your questions, always very professional, courteous, & friendly. Joye Law firm should be proud to have Mr. Rice a part of their team. If you ever get hurt at work these are the people you want to talk to!

I am so grateful that we were recommended to Mr. Davis Rice. My husband was injured while on his job. It wasn't long till we realized we needed a lawyer. We contacted Mr. Rice and he immediately took care of our needs. Had it not been for him I don't know where my family would be right now. He made sure my husband received all the medical treatment he needed including therapy. He made sure we had a weekly check coming in to cover our bills. My husbands case has been settled and we are pleased with the out come. I would highly recommend Mr. Davis Rice to any one, he was very professional and certainly very helpful.
